About QBA

We are an alliance of businesses, organizations, and entrepreneurs in agreement to center the Queer community in the world of business.

We believe that LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs are absolutely vital to the economy, and have the power to change the world. We exist to dismantle the heteronormative business culture we’ve been fed, and reimagine the possibilities of business/entrepreneurship.

In short, Queer Business changes the world, and we’re here to support that.

Championing transgender, non-binary, and gender nonconforming entrepreneurs

Transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming folks are drastically under represented (if represented at all) in business. We believe this community is integral to the LGBTQ+ umbrella and business culture.

We are the Queer Business Alliance, with an emphasis on Queer. The QBA is a trans/gender non-conforming led organization that aims to champion this community. We do not require an application or certification program so there is no need for proving a gender identity – something that creates an additional barrier for this specific community.

We embrace and celebrate the gender and sexual identity diversity across our organization. There’s no box for entrepreneurs to fit into here.
