Our Expert Advisors

Every QBA grantee gains access to our network of volunteer expert advisors – seasoned professionals who are passionate about supporting queer businesses and entrepreneurs. These advisors offer their time, expertise, and insights to help grantees navigate challenges, capture opportunities, and build sustainable businesses.

How It Works for Grantees

When you receive a QBA grant, you’ll get profiles of our expert advisors along with their areas of expertise. You can reach out directly to advisors whose skills align with your needs to arrange consultations, mentoring sessions, or strategic discussions that work for both of your schedules. This flexible approach ensures you get the right support at the right time for your business journey.

Our advisors volunteer their time because they believe in the importance of queer representation in business and want to see our community thrive. They bring diverse backgrounds, industries, and perspectives – all united by a shared commitment to lifting up queer businesses.

Why do you want to support other queer businesses?

I have built a successful business in just three years and provide coaching / mentorship to young chiropractors in new graduates to help them do the same. I have a strong message on keeping life balanced, finding purpose and fulfillment, and providing a service that can change peoples’ lives. I feel that I have a very unique experience that can be influential to any young business owner who is trying to swim upstream.

Why do you want to support other queer businesses?

I support other queer-owned businesses because community-building is at the heart of everything I do, both professionally and personally. Whether I’m providing Spanish learning programming to help others connect with their Spanish-speaking neighbors or creating safe, joyful spaces for Sapphics to share hobbies and build friendships, it all comes back to one thing: uplifting each other and strengthening the communities we belong to.
